Grow A Pair!
Why has it taken so long for our elected officials to have the guts to stand up to/against our incompetent president?
The legislative branch of our government seems to finally be getting a spine when it comes to their dealings with President Trump. They’re starting to speak out against the lunacies of Trump and his administration, such as the existing hole that once was the East Wing of the White House, the celebration fiasco of America’s 250th Birthday, and the $14M Reflecting Pool disaster. They’re refusing to play along with his [somewhat] unspoken desire to buyoff or take control over the whole world (e.g., owning Greenland & Canada, controlling Israel’s and England’s prime ministers, and his indicting of Venezuela’s President Maduro and Cuba’s President Castro).
The U.S. Legislature is also starting to think of their constituents FIRST (or, at least, equally) over the desires and expectations of the president. The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is a comprehensive joint Senate & House package that provides, among other items, best practices for state & local zoning, more available housing in Opportunity zones, and restricts investor organizations from buying single-family homes. Meanwhile, President Trump is doubling-down on his messy autocratic agenda, refusing to sign-off on the proposed Housing bill until the Senate passes his SAVE America Act first, which is meant to address supposed rampant voter fraud. It would seem that Donald Trump is taking the title, “Leader of the free world,” a bit too literal.
